Venus Transit Time Differences

With these calculations, covering a period of more than 3600 years, NASA has proven that Venus transits function in synch with the period of the tropical year.

The minor time discrepancies from +43 minutes to -11 minutes could have various causes (for instance, a false basis of the computations). Based on the length of a sidereal year, an enormous discrepancy of roughly 51 days would be the result [(365.256361 – 365.24219878) × 3653 = 51.73 days].

Example: Time interval from 24.5.303 07:28 to 22.5.554 04:51 = 132013283 minutes

After exactly 251 tropical years, the total time difference is 32013283 min. minus 132013140.327 min. ( 251×365.24219878×1440 min) = +142.673 min.
