THE PRECESSION OF THE EQUINOXES - CAUSE AND EFFECT
Everyone interested in the facts and mysteries of ancient and lost civilizations is familiar with the term 'precession of the equinoxes', commonly referred to as precession. But what do we really know about the true cause of this celestial phenomenon? How does it affect our research? And ultimately, can it provide us with the real key to unlock the secrets of space and time? The ancient astrologers and makers of the calendar, whose wisdom was certainly not just limited to devise names for the countless numbers of stars in the universe and to invent all sorts of religious myths, left us important clues, some which still need to be discovered.
Sadly, it seems that the vast majority of people have been brainwashed by our scientific authorities to accept the ill-fated belief that Newton's lunisolar precession model of our Earth has unequivocally explained the slow regression of the stars. Obtuse to the most fundamental mathematical and physical relationship that describes the motion of the Earth on its axis and its complete revolution around the sun, it never occurred to our esteemed astronomers that their childish "wobble-model" of the Earth does not conform to physical reality.
However, authors like Peter Bros ("The Perils of Precessional Dating", Atlantis Rising Magazine - Issue No. 30) offer us an alternate explanation for precession, namely the movement of our solar system through space (see also http://www.copernican-series.com/precession.html). In 1894 Sri Yukteswar wrote in his book "The Holy Science" that our entire solar system revolves around some other star causing the backward movement of the equinoctial points around the zodiac (for more information on this theory, please click here). Also, we are familiar with the Dogon's cosmological theories of Sirius - the mysterious star revered by many ancient cultures. But is there a connection between these ideas and more importantly, is there a scientific basis to it all?
The research done by Karl-Heinz Homann has shown that our solar system is in orbit with the Sirius system - an assertion based upon observations and calculations of the mean transit period of Sirius (http://www.siriusresearchgroup.com/article1.htm). In other words, the apparent motion of the entire sphere of the fixed stars - i.e. the general precession of 50.26" per tropical year - is due to our non-stationary sun moving through space around Sirius. The scientific proof for this theory is based on the irrefutable mathematical relationship that exists between Earth's period of rotation on its axis and its true 360-degree orbit period around the sun - a time interval that does not depend upon the rate of precession ("Time Equivalence of the Tropical Year and the Sidereal Year", Journal of Theoretics, Vol.3-No.3, and Comments, Journal of Theoretics, Vol.3-No.5).
The problem concerning the cause of precession is not the absence of a measurable scientific alternative, but rather the current interpretation of the available astronomical data. Would it not be an amazing act of hubris, if modern science continues to accept and advocate an illusion as reality?

"The double star of Sirius - which for Pharaonic Egypt played the role of a central sun to our entire solar system - today suggests the existence of a cosmic system of atomic structure whose nucleus is this Great Provider, the Sothis of the ancients. There might well be a need to revise our cosmology in the not-so-distant future."
Schwaller de Lubicz
".... The problem is, as you know, that we're all so pressed for time that it's next to impossible to get involved in technical matters if they do not directly impact upon our own work in hand. I must say that intuitively it seems to me you are on to something. Our sun cannot just be hurtling off into space on its own with no connection to a still greater system...."
